I have Netbackup 7 running on Windows Server 2008 with an Ultrium 960 standalone tape drive. I cannot get Netbackup to recognize the LTO 3 media. This is the case with three new servers with exact same configuration.
I have run the HP Library and Tape Tools (LTT) and this erases the media and all tests are successful.
Once I get to the volume configuration step Netbackup asks me to "select the robot that you want to inventory or the type of standalone drive which you want to configure volumes" I choose my server but never get a highlighted "Next" button to move forward.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Don't try to use the wizard to add media when using Standalone drive(s).
This TN explains media management with Standalone drives (old, but still valid): URL http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH56903
Easiest method:
Say you have 6 physical tapes and you decide to put labels/stickers on them:
A00001
A00002
A00003
A00004
A00005
A00006
You next go to Media Gui and add new volumes: A00001 - 6
Ensure density matches that of the tape drive and select a pool.
Once added, you insert tape A00001 into the tape drive, wait for the 'Ready' light on the drive, then use bplabel as per the TechNote:
bplabel -m A00001 -d hcart3 -o -p NetBackup -u 0 (-d density -p pool)
Repeat for rest of tapes.
