Problem solved . after delete and recreate those policies .

The problem started because the some policies didnt run on weekly Full so it caused the daily to run as full backup ever i have manual change those daily to full for once and then change back to cumulative incremental.

Dont know why.

Can you confirm - are they different policies? Or do you mean schedules within the same policy?

For incremental schedules to work they must be in the same policy as the Full schedule.

schedules are on the same policy .

switch from archive bit to time stamp

what is the -dt flag in the bpbkar set to? Does it say -dt 0 ?

How to check the -dt flag?

I have changed from archive bit to timestamp but still the same .

I found that the weekly policy for those issue backup is not running every weekend.

So i have manually deleted all the problematic policies and recreate it . Then run a bpdown and bpup on the master server.

And last weekend backup is running fine . I will need to monitor the cumulative incremental for tonight.

Thanks guys for your keen input.

Setup logging for bpbkar on the client. The -dt flag is in the first couple of lines....

lpCmdLine = '-r 604800 -ru root -dt 0 -to 0 -clnt serverA -class serverA_DATA

-dt 0 means it ran as a FULL backup.
