Netbackup encryption option

Hi there

I currently run netbackup 6.0 MP4

I have one master/media server with various policies. Recently I have been required to establish a new policy that backups up 6 Microsoft 2003 servers.

However the special thing with this is that these backups require encryption. Now I have never used encryption and have researched netbackups encryption options. I now wish to purchase this option however for the life of me I cannot find any product id or licence information for this option.

Can anyone help?

NetBackup Encryption Option is installed by default with NetBackup 6.  You need to purchase and enter a licence key to enable the functionality (you can speak to your sales rep about this).
 
With NetBackup 6.5, the basic client encryption option is free.  This option enables encryption on a client-by-client basis.  You will need to purchase a licence for the full, centrally-managed, option.
