Netbackup tape rotation log

Hi Experts,

I am wondering how to look into the netbackup logs for the Rotated tapes. We use to swap the tapes on weekly basis and i just want to monitor all the tapes which i use for month( the tapes which i rotated every week). Whewre i can find this log?Please help me

you don't say what version you are on.

6.5 has a report called Tapes Written.... look into that.

Look into the reports section of the Java console and you should be able to find tape related reports.

Additionally you can use bpmedialist with appropriate switches to get desired information.

Sounds like you need to use the Netbackup Vault option for offsite tape management. It's an option activated by a license key. You'd need to speak to your NBU reseller for details.
