OpsCenter vs NOM and logging on as a user

I am reading the OpsCenter manual  (yes I am, cover to cover) and making my list of things to do.
I am going to be installing OpsCenter on a new server -

My question has to do with user log on and password.

In NOM I can add a user, and I can have the log on and choose the DOMAIN - so they choose my company domain which allows them to use their normal domain password.

In reading the OpsCenter manual - so far - it keeps talking about setting or changing the OpsCenter users password.
I have not seen anything yet that says about choosing a domain and using your domain password.

Can anybody tell me if that option is still there, or will I have to change my OpsCenter password by hand every time I change my domain password just to keep them the same?

Yes it's still there as it was in NOM.

I have set it up to use active directory, there is a config to point to your AD server.

Of course, I did not read the manual, just bashed my way through it....

When you add a user, select "existing domain user" and it will add a drop down box that shows all your domains.

It is case sensitive for your user names!

Can you set it up so you don't need to add the user into Ops?  So any AD user can log in without you first creating them?

I see that as being a security risk, why I don't think you can do it.
Remember that someone who can get into opscenter(or nom) as a power user, can cancel jobs, start jobs, and even start restores.  Not something you any just anybody to be able to do, which is why there are roles that you add the users as.

I totally missed that part, but I do remember reading the part about the admin name and password.  Just missed the domain part.
