Can you remember your post about Exclude Lists? When you asked questions like:
What is the use?
What if I don't?

Surely you understood back then as you marked Solution?

You can exclude folders and also use wildcards, e.g.
C:\System Volume Information\
ntuser.dat.*

Users must be logged out and applications idle to prevent those sorts of warning

If the files it not important consider to exclude them from the backup. That on the other side mean you must use some time to understand the use of the files.

Take for example syscache.hve

http://nsrd.info/documentation/nw75/75_release_notes.pdfThe files syscache.hve, syscache.hve.LOG1, a...

during backup he files syscache.hve, syscache.hve.LOG1, and syscache.hve.LOG2, located in
the %systemdrive%\system volume information folder, will be skipped during backup. These hive files are used for maintaining extended data for executable  files on the system, such as SRP (Software Restriction Policies) and AppLocker.  Microsoft recommends not restoring these files. These files are created from
derived data and will be rebuilt over time.

With this info in place I would presume it's OK to put this file on the exclude list.

In addition to the above excellent posts note that also - many items should be accessible if using VSS correctly as Windows and VSS quiece them for you.

Make sure that the client is set to use VSS (Master Server Host Properties - Client Attributes, add the client, select it and on the Windows Open Files backup tab select to use VSS)

Also sometimes it helps to set the NetBackup client service account to use a domain administrator account dependant on exactly what the server is.
