RC 24

We have a second NIC card enabled on our Windows 2003 master server.   This NIC card is for a network reporting tool to have access to report on Netbackup.   Some of our clients began getting a RC 24 when we activated this NIC card.   WE get a RC 24.  BLCLNTCMD -pn returns the correct info from the client and bpclntcmd -hn resturns the correct info from the server.   However, when I run bptestbpcd, I get the RC 24.   Any suggestions.  One such client is 6.5  while the server is 6.5.4

Check that each NIC is configured with different hostname.

Please post output of 'bpclntcmd -self' on client as well as client's bpcd log after failed bptestbpcd attempt.

I ran a bpclntcmd -self on the master, and the host names are the same for both NIC cards

Looks like the second NIC has a DNS name of -nb but it must also have an alias as the prod name

I filled in the "Use Specified Network Interface"  (Master Server Host properties) and I am now able to run bptestbpcd.   So I guess the backups will run tonight.   Thanks
