Reg NTFS and Change Journal Being enabled on the Client doesn't optimize any data

Hi ,

we are using Netbackup Appliance 7.6 version as master+media server and our Client is at a version of 7.5.0.6 (Windows 2008). In which we have enabled Change Journal and also Accelerator . But , we are not getting any optimization and even the speed is quiet low.

Please check that the optimization is 0.0%

This is the third backup happening with the accelerator option enabled and optimization being 0% even with change journal settings. It is impacting the backup window

The Use accelerator option is not enabled on the policy.

For full backups, the UseChangeJournal option requires that Use accelerator is enabled.

see the page number 657 in netbackup admin guide volume 1 for unix .

and make sure its enabled..

Just to see if we are 'on the same page' - was Activity Monitor details taken from the 1st or a subsequent successful backup?

Have you enable Client side dedupe? (Media server is the default).
