Restarting a cancelled backup job

Santiago21

Hello,

I have a backup job with 3 Windows servers. 2 of the servers were backed up successfully.

I was having issues with the 3rd server and cancelled the job.

Is there a way to start that backup job on the 3rd server without having to restart the whole job?

Thanks,

From gui right click policy, select manual backup and only select the one client.

If you want to resume the job where it stopped when you cancelled it, the answer is no. If you cancelled/killed the job, it cannot be resumed. To resume a job (restart where it left off) you need to have Checkpoints enabled in the policy attributes. This will allow you to Suspend the job instead of cancelling it. The job in Activity Monitor can then be resumed. The job will restart at the last checkpoint. Without checkpoints, the job must be run from scratch.
