Running 7.5.0.5, SQL Backup taking too long with any schedule.

No matter what schedule I run, Differential, Incremental or Monthly the backup of my SQL server takes at least a day and a half to 3 days.  This is the only SQL server is does this with.  If I upgrade to 7.6 will it fix this issue?

Please provide more details - server version, sql version, nbu version, size of database in question etc.

Also please show us you bch file in case that has any issues

Is this a client or a media server / san media server?

Thanks

Chances are very slim that an upgrade will fix the slow backup.

Best to look at sizes of databases on this client, disk layout where data needs to be read from, network speed and config between client and media server, how backup policy is configured, how the script is configured, and if client is able to generate more than one datastream simultaneously.

Please supply as much info as possible.
