Is there a SCOM 2012 management pack for netbackup 7x? I found several articles pointing to the SCOM 2007 management pack and working in conjuction with Ops Center, is that a requirement? I have a single netbackup server (single server environment) and dont have ops center setup here.
Yes - SCOM 2007 R2 MPs work with SCOM 2012. There will be no SCOM 2012 specific management packs. The one exception if you have SCOM 2012 beta is that there is a specific SharePoint 2010 MP for SCOM 2012 but this is a due to a "bug" and this will be sorted by SCOM 2012 RTM.

Pretty sure it is a requirement - seems to remember I had a case on this a while back, only way we could get it to work was by installing the management pack.
