120px_Restore Error.jpg

Hi there,

Encountering an issue with regards to restoring sql database to another server. After running the script, error 2850 appears on the activity monitoring.

Upon checking the client list, destination server is not listed.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Please show us all text in Details tab of the failed restore jobs, and tell us all steps that were followed to do the restore.
Please also share the text in the 'View status' window on the SQL client.

If this is a redirected restore to another server, have you created files in db\altnames on the master?

Have you increased Client Read Timeout on media server?

Logs needed to troubleshoot SQL restore:

On master: bprd (NBU must be restarted after log folder is created)

On media server: bpbrm and bptm

On destination client: bpcd and dbclient

Please ensure that all of these log folders exist under netbackup\logs before next restore attempt.

We will tell you which logs to upload based on answers and output requested.

Thanks for the quick response marianne. Though i already figured it out. Error is showing because of insufficient size on the destination server.
