I am a new user of Netbackup 6.5.2A, and am currently progressing the rollout to 120 Windows 2003 Servers.
I recently came across this document http://support.veritas.com/docs/305931 "About the Bandwidth Properties", which explains that "Netbackup does not currently support bandwidth limits on NetBackup for Microsoft SQL-Server clients".
This i experienced as 80 of the 120 Servers i need to roll out to are connected to the WAN by only 2MB lines. The bandwidth limits i have set to use only half this, but the SQL jobs were using the full pipe available.
I am also seeing this use of the full bandwidth, with the policies i have setup to pull back Shadow Copy Components, ignoring the bandwidth limits in place.
So i am basically wondering if the reason is similar to SQL jobs, or do i have some other problem or setting that i may have missed configuring.
