If you need an answer quicker than 45 minutes, may I suggest opening a case with Technical Support?
They will probably want to see your bpbrm and bptm logs, and maybe some from the client as well if there are any, so be sure to have them ready.

In this case, you are trying to restore backup of client mail.mountsaintvincent.eu on netbak client. Do you have netbackup client installed on this host, netbak?
09-09-2008 05:48 PM
Hi Rakesh,
Yes the netbackup client mail.cmsv.edu which is in Linux box is installed into the master server Netbak. Is the client stop and start scripts resides into the master server?
Thanks
09-09-2008 05:49 PM
Rakesh,
Which location is the client start and stop script located in the master server?

have you tried reading the manul yet on who to do a restore?
or even the Help on Restore Marked Files window?
in that window you will find 3 options...
overwrite
retore with a temp name
do Not restore
choose the correct one for what you want.
