Shot cut not created in programs file after NBU up gradation 7.6 to 7.7

Hi All,

Have any one solution regarding below issue,

Shot cut not created in programs file after NBU upgradation 7.6 to 7.7.

note : for open NBU console need to go (open folder) programs files \veritas\netbackup\java\nvjava.

Apologies... screen shot?  or directoty listing?  showing what was there before, and what's there now?

FYI - There is no Windows Admin Console in v7.7 - and the v7.7 Java Console shortcuts have changed a bit.

Do you have a genuine problem with something that no longer works, or are you just puzzled as to the changes in v7.7?

No trouble here.  Start > All Programs > Symantec Netbackup > Back-Level Administration Consoles

should have multiple versions listed

Where have you looked for the shortcut? I have also upgraded my Java Console from 7.6.1 to 7.7.1. My shortcut is under All Programs -> Symantec -> NetBackup

thanks for your comments..

admin console is not listed in program files(or somany admin console version is there). However open multiple times form below location, then its listed in program files.

c:\programs files \veritas\netbackup\java\nvjava

PS: not for all upgraded servers, this problem is occur in few servers.

Let me guess.. are you talking about the Windows admin console?

Please note, starting from 7.7 , there is no more Windows admin console but only Java GUI available. "Windows admin console" has been End-of-Life.

Please refer to page 25~26 of 7.7 admin guide: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000004585

You can still see those "Windows admin console" shortcuts for older version, just not 7.7 or above.
