SnapVault and NetBackup

Is it possible to get backup of snapvaulted data on the filers with NetBackup for NDMP? All the filers are going to be replicated to one filer which we should take copy to tape. What is the best way? Does NDMP work for this?

I think SYMC dropped the support after NetApp ended the agreement back in 6.5 days.

In NBU 7.5 there will be some functionality again with Replicator Director though.

If you use 7.0/7.1 you could potentially just use a normal NDMP policy and manually figure out the snap names that NetApp SnapManager creates, or just use the common .daily etc snapshots for the SnapVault on secondary. Should work similar with SnapMirror.

Surely you can do your own snapvaults and then ndmp backup the target snaps?
