You have a lot of drives there and many are down as well as some being AVR
Are all of your Media Servers functioning correctly?
If one that is the robot host is not functioning then the other media servers attached to those drives will show as AVR
We need a bit more details such as NBU Version, O/S, how many Media Servers etc.
Why are so many drives down?
Thanks

Are all of the drives in one robot?
I guess not... The AVR drives in another robot?
Please post device config:
f:\Program Files\Veritas\Volmgr\bin>tpconfig -l
Please add VERBOSE entry to f:\Program Files\Veritas\Volmgr\vm.conf and restart Device Manager service.
Comms problems with robot and/or robot control host will be logged in Event Viewer System and Application logs.

Hi Rajeev,
we would like to assist, bu we need you to give us more info.
The large amount of tape drives looks like you have a mix of VTL and physical tape?
Where is robot control for the robot(s)? Local or on another media server?
Output of 'tpconfig -l' will help us to understand how many robots you have, where the robot control is, and which robot(s) are problematic.
Also, don't forget the VERBOSE entry in vm.conf....

Just Storage Units or devices as well?
We were trying to help you back in October and November last year but you never came back with ANY info.
