The Media Server in not been able to be active for the Tape & why the Device service is stopped

Dear Members,

We have 5 Hyper-V servers which are on the SAN environment. These Hyper-V servers are used as a fail over cluster.
Because these Hyper-V servers are on the SAN, we installed the Media Servers on the 2 Hyper-V servers out of 5.
The zonning has been configured properly. There is 1 License for the Shared Storage Option, shown in the details of licences.
On the Hyper-V server we can see the tape drives and tape library in device manager. The Media Servers are shown successfully in the Master Server.
But these two Media Servers for Hyper-V are not Active for the tape. These are only Active for the disk.Al though through command we are able to make these Media Servers Actrive for the tape and disk but again suddenly these become active only for the disk. While the Master Server's own Media Server is Active for Tape and Disk. Also the media and device service in these two Hyper-V servers is stopped again and again after even starting it.

I have not applied any hotfixes on these Hyper-V servers. We can not even start these servers as well but can the restart solve the problem.

Can Anyone of you guide me, what exactly the problem could be & how to resolve this issue.

Waiting for your quick response.

Bundle of Thanks.

Did you check for compatibility and support before installation?

Virtual servers are supported as Disk Media Servers only, not as Media Manager (tape) Media Servers.
