Upgrade from Netbackup 6.5 to 6.5.2 on AIX

Has anyone been through this upgrade? Any issues / recommendations / horror stories? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The hot-catalog backups seems to have issues.  Thats our problem.

This is one of the issues we've been told was fixed in this version... Ah well. Did you install any of the DB agent patches? Any issues there?

Oracle DB agents for Solaris 10 and AIX 5.3 are working fine.

master/media are AIX 5.3.6

 

unix clients and windows clients.

 

did the master and media first and saw no new problems.

 

upgraded all the clients and saw no new problems..

 

only little issue I had was when we could not push the update to a windows sever and had to do the update by hand, it wants to put the client name in the list of other servers ( which makes it show up as a media server even when it is not).  Just remove the name of the list of other servers and it comes back as a client.

 

I upgraded from NB 6.5.0 to 6.5.2a.  saw no new issues. Hot catalog works ok for me.

only issue I have is shadow copy backups ( but I had these at 6.5.0 as well).
