Has anyone seen an issue were the Linux OS only see's 8 of the 10 configured NetApp Nearstore 1400 VTL drives, but all 16 Quantum i2000 Scalar drives come in just fine.
This has happened now on 2 new configurations. I have to remove the drives from the host access on the netapp and add them back in, then rescan the SCSI bus on the server to get the OS to see the last 2 of 10 drives. What is strange is the drive LUN's are see with the QLogic SAN surfer software but no drive info available, and the OS will not see them, and if the server gets shutdown for any reason I have to redo this every time.
