Veritas Security Services (VxSS) on Solaris 10 with NBU 6.0

Hi

I am installing VXSS with NBU6.0 master and media server on solaris 10. Can anybody help me by providing the procedure. I have one document as mentioned below, but that applies to previous version of VxSS.

You should call Symantec and ask them if they support VXSS on Solaris 10. If they do then they would have an intall pdf for it.

Hi Team,

Pls. respond to below query.

I have installed and configured VxSS on NBU6 Master Server running on Solaris 10. I have a NBU6 Media Server running on Windows 2003 Server.

Now when i configure the VxSS Authentication/Authorization client on the Windows Media Server, i get the below error when i open the admin console

VxSS is not configured propely to use your windows login information for single sign on. "
when click ok, i see the admin console after 15 mins and below pop message

Unable to connent to Enterprise Media Manager Server: rnd3, unable to connect to the EMM Server (77)

Can anybody respond to my query.

I am encountering the same problem? Where should I look into? What password do you mean here stumpr?

If you want your Windows user to automatically get logged-on to the NBU admin console when it is opened, you will need to
- add your Windows Active Directory or NT Domain as a legitimate domain
- authorize the user to perform NBU administration
