We are doing BMR on test servers.  When we booting server through ILO , getting below error “ No network interfaces were discovered”.

Also as per bmr logs SRT is running on 6.0 and it requires WinPE 2.1 drivers, so he requested download the windows PE 2.1  drivers and to extract the .inf files but we didn’t get windows PE 2.1  drivers.

The drivers listed in file 'packages' are for Windows 6.1 (aka Windows 2008 R2 i.e. suitable for WinPE 3.0).

Your BMR client is running Windows 2008 R2 (aka Windows 6.1) (i.e. compatible with WinPE 3.0).

However your SRT is based upon Windows 6.0 (aka Windows 2008 and WinPE 2.1), because you are using NetBackup v7.5.

See:

Windows Device Driver Requirements for Bare Metal Restore (BMR):

https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000084529

.

Anyway, as it stands you need to get hold of a set of drivers for Windows 2008 (i.e. Windows 6.0) which are compatible with WinPE 2.1 - as you don't seem to have downloaded those yet from the OEM server vendor.  If the vendor does not have drivers for Windows 2008 (Windows 6.0) suitable for WinPE 2.1 - then you are effectively stuck due to vendor limitations (not NetBackup), and so your only option is below.

.

If this is for testing and preparation, then you could upgrade to NetBackup v7.6.0.x, which uses SRTs based on Windows 2008 R2, and so you would be able to use the drivers listed in file named 'packages'.  However, if you do upgrade to NetBackup v7.6.0.x, then you also need to be aware of this:  http://www.veritas.com/docs/000021140

The NetBackup SCL lists 'BMR Client' as being supported for Windows 2008 R2 since NetBackup v7.0.1:

Go to Top of "Microsoft Windows Server 2008"

.

However, I think it's a shame that the NetBackup 7.0 - 7.6.x SCL section covering Windows Server 2008 (and R2) does not have a note saying:

(3) For Windows 2008 R2 NetBackup BMR Client recovery in a NetBackup v7.5 environment, one may require Windows device drivers compatible with WinPE 2.1 for Windows 2008 (i.e. Windows NT 6.0) for certain vendor specific server hardware configurations.
