add_drv sg failed on solaris 10 netbackup 6.5

Hi,

I am facing a problem during the installation of veritas netbackup, where after installing the netbackup on the solaris 10 system (Sun V245), when I do sg.install, I am getting the following error message

# ./sg.install

Copied files to /kernel/drv to /kernel/drv/sparcv9.

Doing add_drv of the sg driver

devfsadm: driver failed to attach: sg
Warning: Driver (sg) successfully added to system but failed to attachn

WARNING: /usr/sbin/add_drv failed.
         There may be no SCSI devices on this machine

Please find the cfgadm -a output below

 root@bkp-server # cfgadm -a
c3                             scsi-bus     connected    configured   unknown
c3::rmt/1                      tape         connected    configured   unknown
c3::scsi/changer/c3t5d1        med-changer  connected    configured   unkno

Eventhough my library (C2 tape autoloader -SCSI) is detected in the os , it does not show in veritas

When I do #modinfo | grep sg

it returns with sgen (solaris sgen, not veritas sg)

#modload /kernel/drv/sparcv9/sg

sg: WARNING: sg: _init failed on linkage 6

#/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/sgscan all

# (Returns nothing)

#/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/scan

(returns no devices)

through the netbackup graphical console also it is not able to find the devices

Please advise me on the above issue

Thanks and Regards
