hello.. in my testing environment (with NB7 enterprise eval license), I am trying to add new Windows media server (box002) from (Windows2003) Master server (box001).
- Installed NB7 Media server software on Media server. (rebooted OS)
- On Master server > properties, added "media server" name into <additional server> list, <Media server> list, <client attribute>.
- Master server rebooted.
- EMM = same as Master server.
The problem is, host properties > media servers. It doesn't show the new media server except for Master server name only. Am I missing something else? Thanks in advanced..
oh by the way, does it have to be in exact sequence as per "NetBackup_AdminGuideI_WinServer.pdf" documentation - table 6.1? Which mean that, adding the media server into the Master server's properties, then only followed by installing the media software on media server?
