Hi All,
I have to configured agent based backups.
like wise for sql and oracle backup,We need sql agent ond oracle agent on the client.
What in case of lotus notes,exchange,sybase,db2,SAP ?
We need to have each agent on client?
For a windows client A,I want to take Hot SQL backup ,lotus notes backup ,exchange backup ,SAP backup.
What i needs to do?
Or agent needs to be installed on exchange server/lotus notes server/sap server and we put these hostnames under client name ?Ami correct?

That is how I have configured database agents for as long as I've known NBU.
For SAP, the manual contains ALL info that you need.
For Exchange, there is additional info and videos, depending on Exchange version and recovery requirements:

Windows Client software includes ALL agents and options. There is nothing else to install.
Same with Linux/Unix client as from NBU 7.0 - ALL agents and options are installed along with client software.
To configure agent backup, you need to have sufficient Application and Database agent license keys. Agent license keys are added on the master server to enable the relevant policy types.
Use the agent guides to configure hot, online backups.

I am configuring exchange and SAP in my environment.I have the 7.5 exchange and SAP guide with me.
But I need to know what needs to be told to the windows team regarding this.
What are the conditions to take the exchange and SAP backup?
