Hello,
I got three DSU's in the following manner:
F:\Daily ( backup size in DSU approx 300G)
F:\Weekly ( backup size in this DSU approx 600G)
F:\Monthly ( backup size in this DSU approx 600G)
total E: drive is 2TB (High and low water mark is the same on all DSU's)
All those DSU's used for staging purpose of different polices.
my query is while taking a backup to DSU1 - reaches the high water mark since those DSU's reside on the same drive my DSU2 also will reaching the high water level mark at this point on the same time , Will the netbackup automatically remove the from images ( which is already copied to tape ) the both DSU's ? or only from the DSU1 ?
Regards

Do not create different DSU's on the same LUN/physical drive.
This will completely mess up low/high water marks.
A storage unit should comprise of a complete lun.
Admin Guide I says the following:
Do not configure multiple BasicDisk storage units to use the same volume or file
system. Not only do the storage units compete for space, but different Low water
marks can cause unexpected behaviors.

Do not include the same volume or file system in multiple BasicDisk storage units
