configuration of netbackup 6.5 UNIX media server

Hello,

 

I have to configure Netbackup 6.5 Media server on a unix box. Can someone please provide me a good link which can be helpful in the procedure and provide me some help on how to do this task from scratch

Hi,

 

You can configured the Media Server from your Master Server. As I understood, you wanna do your device configuration which is connected to the your Media Server? Right?

 

If it is right! Use the 'Device Configuration Wizard' on your Master Server GUI, then just choose your media server, which one you wanna configure. Then follow steps. It will scan and find your devices and then it will configre them.

 

PS: I have one document as name 'MediaMgr_DeviceConfig_Guide'. Try to find it on Symantec WebPage. If want I can send it you.
