j'ai essayé d'installer netbackup 6.5.3 client sous linux redhat 5.3 mais l'installation n'a pas été lancée. j'ai exécuté ./VrtsNB_6.5.3.preinstall et  ./VrtsNB_6.5.3.preinstall   mais rien n'est affiché et nous renvoie directement l'invite de commande.
merci de me répondre rapidement.

Do you have NetBackup 6.5.0 or later installed on this Linux Client currently.

Note: You need to install 6.5.0 GA version first then minor versions ie 6.5.1 6.5.2 and 6.5.3 are in actual fact updates / service packs you install on top of 6.5

I normally just run NB_update.install script not the preinstall script

No you can't or why would you when there is a  red hat client software available. Look through your media for the Linux Clients disc. Or download the correct Linux Clients disc (I think its labelled UNIX Clients 2 for Linux Clients)
