Hello All ,

we are using netbackup6.5.3 and we have valid support contract,like to download the client agent for Linux enterprise 5.2.can I have the link to down load?

and select you want dowload agent, client .

That link is for the 7.0 client.  The original poster said he was still running 6.5.3 and you can not have a client at a version higher than the master.

The client kits for 6.5.3 are located at:

Hi Ed,

Well spotted, i missed that. But the link you posted is for the 6.5.3 mp (updates), the requester needs the installation media. From his replies it would seem he's already received and implemented his upgrade notification for version 7 (thats where the access to fileconnect dropped him).

Rajupt-123, you'll need to contact Symantec to get special access to fileconnect so that you can download the older (6.5 GA) client software. This might also be difficult because general access on version 6.5 gives you access to 6.5.4 media. Best to talk to your symantec rep.

I would be very nice to have readme file separate from the binaries which tells the downloader which binaries contain the s/w for what.......

The only way to know what binaries are for what is to download the file and go through the the readme file.
