Hello;

My nbu system is running on Linux redhat and has current version 7.7.3. I want to upgrade to 8.1.2. Can I upgrade from 7.7.3 to 8.1 then 8.1.2 or should I upgrade from 7.7.3 to 8.0 then to 8.1 then 8.1.2 ? Thank you.

Tom

Hello

Take NBU hot catalog backup and go for 812 directly. If this server is also MSPD storage server this is no roll back due to changes in the hashing mechanizm... Also a good practice is to check the upgrade on sort.veritas.com - you can run a genereric or custom upgrade reports, which I do encourage you to perform!
