problem in netbackup

one policy has been set to infinite retention and and after that not able to use that dat for rebackup in netbackup..any wayout to use that particular dat for backup..i have netbackup server 6 in windows 2000 server.

I have configured hp surestore autoloader 1/8 tape library in netbackup 6.also installed in robotic.Policy set with robotic but backup job not started.but same policy is been started with dat drive.What could be the issue with robotic.

pls help.
