ci-après le détail du job :
02-18-2014 01:06 AM
starting backup job (jobid=18473) for client 10.42.1.21,
PLEASE - don't use IP addresses in policies....
The client will try to connect to the Master with it's hostname as part of the backup request.
You need to ensure successful forward and reverse hostname lookup between master and client, as well as between client and media server.
If the client is not on DNS, add hosts entries for the client on master and media server(s). Add hosts entries for the master and media server(s) on the client. Check that hostnames in hosts file on the client matches the NBU SERVER names on the client (registry on Windows, bp.conf on Unix/Linux).
Remember to clear NBU host cache after editing hosts files.
To troubleshoot further, we need the following logs (create the folders if they don't exist):
On master: bprd (restart NBU Request service to enable the log)
On client: bpcd, dbclient and bphdb as well as output file of rman script.
If Unix/Linix Client, remember that dbclient and bphdb folders need 777 permissions.
After next failure, copy logs to .txt files (e.g. bprd.txt)
