Have you done the normal testing?
from the master nslookup <client name>
nslookup <client ip>
nslookup <client ip> do you get the same name back both time.

the from the client
nslookup <master name>
nslookup <master ip>

check that they can see each other.
add entries to host and see if you can connet

if yes then it is dns..

this is the first thing you should test.

Enter Clinte server name in to Master server host file with ip address same thing do it in the client server also then try to ping the master server name from client server.

You may also want to use the bpclntcmd  command
-self  : what the client thinks it is.
and -pn : responce from the master server as to what it thinks the client is.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. i have followed the method like editing host file and added the server name and ip, similarly on the client side.

then it started working.

thanks for the valuable feedback
