I am getting this email....

Backup on client xxxxxxxxxx for user root by server xxxxxxxx succeeded.

/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/dbext/logs/vxbsa.1376060893.21501.prog.pcb_std may have more information.

File list

Is there anything that I can do to prevent these emails from coming in?

You can configure email alerts on the catalog backup policy on the 'disaster recovery' tab. I *beleive* this is where they are coming from.

It doesnt appear that there is an issue, the backup is succeeding? If you turn off the email alerts, that should stop the notifications. I apologize if I am missing something.

Is that the problem? These aren't errors they are notification e-mails of successful backups that the OP does not want to receive?

Need to cease all e-mails or just those pertaining to successful jobs?

Thanks for the feedback....This seemed to clear on it's own...I am not receiving those emails anymore...Thanks everyone who responded
