Easy way to troubleshoot, as I said on your other thread:
Something wrong with your bpstart script. Move it or rename it and try the job again to verify.

Check the bpstart_notify script on the client for errors. If possible run the commands in the bpstart_notify script manually on the client to find out which part of it is failing.
If you can back up the client without the bpstart_notify script, re-name bpstart_notify and re-run the backup.

This details some fixes for this. Has anything recently changed in your environment? Did you just recently upgrade? Is this a new client? etc.

You are STILL not giving us ANYTHING to work with.
Have you checked client BBDO1A01APV0W for bpstart_notify script? Have you spoken to the system owner to find out what the purpose is of the script?

If these really are VMware backups and you get this error for different clients then your VMware backup host has a bpstart_notify script on it so check what it does or just move it out of the bin directory
09-24-2013 03:18 AM
on the vmware backup host,I have 2 files.bpstart_notify under path nbu/bin.(windows)
09-24-2013 03:25 AM
So what is in them and why do you have them there?
09-24-2013 03:58 AM
they are bat files.(batch).How to check what is in them?
09-24-2013 04:07 AM
Right click and select "edit"
They will then open in notepad
