how to take report

Hi Experts,

My issue is:-
Client is having Symantec Netbackup for tape backup. We also have the Netbackup Reporter to create advanced reports of the backups, the amounts, etc. What we need is a report, broken out by individual policy, for total amount of data backed up, and perhaps another showing failed jobs broken out by individual machine. 
Now my question is how could i generate report ..and  how do i customize it..????

First off, take a look at http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/320685.htm and see whether the doc lists a report format that you like - those are all the built-in one-click reports.

If none of those look good, you'll need to do a custom report.
