Not entirely sure what you mean by "first face", from the other steps described it sounds like you are trying to rollback the system to its original state (ie: before patching). Note this may not be possible due to the incorrect steps used when patching; however the first step is to get the system booted so you can see what has happened.
Unencapsulate the disk and see if the OS boots first. To do this:
- boot from cd-rom/dvd
- mount the root disk or root mirror (or both, if you want to try booting from both), edit vfstab, system files to mount slices instead of volumes
- umount the slices
- boot from rootdisk (or rootmirror, depending which one you edited above/want to test) and verify the OS boots OK from slices.
---- if system boots ok on slices, then look at starting vxvm
---- if system does NOT boot ok from slices, you can try booting from the other disk (also from slices); if that also doesn't work, you will need to restore from backup.
The following technote has the commands for the above steps:
TN 308958: How to boot from Solaris OS CD/DVD when system fails to boot and the boot disk is encapsulated
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/308958.htm
If you are able to boot from slices, but then have problems starting vxvm, you will need to provide details/errors when that occurs. I would also suggest logging a call with Technical Support as that would be more appropriate if you need urgent support.
For future reference, this technote has steps to detach root mirror properly for recovery (ie: it won't help here now since the damage is already done, but you can refer to this for future patching)
