Problem importing DG's

People:
    I have the following problem:

Today, I have two SUN 890 (Solaris 9), with VVM 4, Sun Cluster and Oracle RAC 9.i. (working OK) The external storage is an EMC DMX1000, with two disk groups: dg1 with 3 LUN's and dg2 with 97 LUN's, imported without problems (dg2 is shareable)

I install a Sun T5220 with Solaris 10, VVM 5.0MP1RP4.4 with Oracle 9 (without RAC), for testing purposes. The problem apperar when I try to import the dg's (conected to the same external storage):

    dg1 import without problems
dg2 show the following error: import failed: Disk group has no valid configuration copies

In the 5250 logs, I found the following messages

    Jun 18 18:12:21 xxxx01 vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] V-5-1-10977 da_join failed, for device EMC0_59: Disk write failure
        Jun 18 18:12:21 xxxx01 vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] V-5-1-10977 da_join failed, for device EMC0_57: Disk write failure
        Jun 18 18:12:21 xxxx01 vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] V-5-1-10977 da_join failed, for device EMC0_15: Disk write failure
        Jun 18 18:12:21 xxxx 01 vxvm:vxconfigd: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] V-5-1-10977 da_join failed, for device EMC0_99: Disk write failure

Googling for the errors, I found something similar in Symantec that say's "You need to install Hot Fix 7", but I don't find these hotfix.

    Can anyone please help me?

    Thanks a lot!!!

P.D.: sorry for my bad english,  but my native language is spanish

Check if your second DG luns are fenced off (i/o fencing).
that will cause this kind of problem. The solution is to delete the SCSI-3 reservation keys off these luns.

You can use vxfenadm (if you are using Veritas I/O Fencing)  to delete the SCSI-3 reservations.

Didn't see that bit about you using Sun Cluster.
There is a tool within sun Cluster that will delete the SCSI-3 reservations from those luns.
But if this DG is controlled by SC, you should not forcibly import it into the other node.
There are lots of ifs...a detailed description of your environment will help identify the problem and a solution.
