BESR 8.02 Dynamic Disks Recovery

I can not find any documentation, but I recently migrated a server 2003 installation onto larger hard drives. Everything went well, but I noticed BESR turned the Dynamic disks into Basic Disks. I tried to convert it back, but nothing happens.

 

Any ideas???

Backup Exec is unable at this time to set a restored drive active for booting if dynamic, so we remove the software span making the disk basic once again. What is the error(s) you are getting when attempting to convert the restored basic disks back into being dynamic? Does partinfo.exe report any partitions errors that may prevent this conversion? On the source system, are their - within the Windows event logs – reports of Ldm or dmboot errors? Does restore to a 2nd different model of system results in the same inability to convert back into dynamic?
