How often do you guys defrag your drives.
I have 4 servers writing to a partition - each around 300Gb in size.
They constantly fail and it seems to be down to the fragmentation of the destination drives.
Is it something that needs to be taken into account and scheduled around your backup schedule.
Any ideas would be tops.
