Hi,
we are running with Symantec System Recovery Management Solution 2013 and use it to backup a number of clients across site.
I've been asked to provide a Recovery Disk by a user who wishes to test the recovery process and wondered if this is relevant to my set up.
I can't find any option to create a Recovery Disk as we generally push out the install without user interface.
So the question is, where will I find a recovery disk or is this no longer relevant in symantec system recovery. The user has a history using Backup Exec where I believe the recovery disk was available.
Solved! Go to Solution.

You can download the recovery disk from the trialware site:
https://www4.symantec.com/Vrt/offer?a_id=154587
If you need to create a custom recovery disk, you need to use the full (with user interface) version of SSR.
Also, using the Management Solution, you can push out the LightsOut Restore package which installs the recovery disk onto a partition on the client machine.
