Experiences on using BESR Lightout Restore

   We have intention to implement BESR Lightout restore option to recover managed computers from remote site. I would like to hear any experences or feedback from anyone.

I personally have used the LightsOut option. I would make sure that the systems in question has 1 GB of memory and the SRD you use for the lights out wizard can boot the system in question successfully; that is can see the RAID controller and network connection. Having PcAnywhere is a must, and the build has to be 11.5 or greater. Outside of that, I have not have a problem using it.

We use BESR LOR in conjuction with Dell Remote Access Controllers embedded in servers and with Dell (Avocent) KVM over IP system.  Used across EU datacenters and Americas and Asia Pacific remote offices.
