We are trying to recover some emails using GPT (Granular Restore Option) and have been running into some issues.
When opening the GPT interface it asks for the last recovery point. At this point we have tried using the latest recovery point and selecting the system index file manually. However as soon as we select either option the program hangs; we have had this issue on multiple servers. We leave the program overnight to find it still sitting there in the morning with “Not Responding” on the title bar.
Symantec System Recover 2010 is the program in question, fully up to date. The servers have Windows SBS 2008 and Windows SBS 2003.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix, or another solution to accessing the backup?
