Installing BESR v 7.0

I have registered, downloaded v 7 of Backup Exec System Reovery Desktop and Server.

I created CD from an ISO image.  I presently have v 6.5.

When I pop in the CD or run autorun.exe I get a menu with only 4 items

1  Run Driver Validation

2. View Readme

3. Browse the CD

4 Exit

Where is the install Backup Exec System recovery?

Second Quest.  Is the Desktop version and Server version the same ISO?

Hello,

I believe the menu you listed is the one that appears when you insert the Symantec Recovery Disk (SRD).  With Backup Exec System Recovery version 6.5, the product installation CD and the SRD was the same CD.

Due to expanding feature sets and other issues, with Backup Exec System Recovery version 7.0 the product installation CD and the SRD are now separate CD's.
