Restoring image with acrobat and autodesk software problems

abufa

Hello.

We have some time with the ghost and with this version we've had problems restoring GHO on the same computer or another that had been damaged. The problems are with the licensing of Adobe Acrobat, Autocad 2008 and Autodesk Inventor, for example.

With this version of BESR still to restore these problems?

Thanks you.

The licensing/activation of some software is tied to certain attributes of the hardware, so, if there is a hardware change, the software becomes deactivated. For example, WinConnect XP becomes deactivated when you move it to new hardware.

This is not a problem with the Symantec software as much as it is a problem with the way that licensing/activation was designed in the 3rd party software. You'll probably have to take your issue with Adobe, AutoCAD, and AutoDesk. I wish you lots of luck.

Just my 2 cents on it.

Aychekay is correct. This is also an issue with OEM licensed Operating Systems and applications. This is typically done to prevent the movement of OEM software (which is usually sold at a discounted rate to hardware manufacturers). This can actually happen if you make a significant change to the hardware configuration of a system, such as replacing the motherboard or processor.
