hi,
I noticed that VProSvc service of backup exec recovery uses about 30MB of ram on my pc so I would like to start it only a few minutes before the planned backup and to stop it just some time after that

which is the command line syntax to start/stop the service from CMD? in this way I could create a .cmd file and put it in planned operations

let me know

thanks in advance

The VProSvc process is associated with the 'Backup Exec System Recovery' service.

This can be stopped by using NET STOP from a command prompt and started by using NET START like any other service.

ie
NET STOP "Backup Exec System Recovery"
NET START "Backup Exec System Recovery"
