Hello,
I am attempting to install Symantec System Recovery 3.0 64bit on a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Server.
The installation is erroring with the following: 'This operating system or its service pack is not supported'
I have found the following Tech Article: Article: TECH155613
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH155613
This article advises to download from file connect the 'SP1' version.
Alas, there is no file that has any marking for versioning.
I have tried to log a case with the support ID I have with my Symantec documentation - this also errors.
Please, does anyone have resolution to this?

Have you the serial number at your hand ? You'll need it when downloading the files from https://fileconnect.symantec.com/

So you are trying to install the management solution then?
You can get the SP1 version of SSR-MS via our trialware site:
http://www.symantec.com/products/trialware.jsp?pcid=pcat_business_cont&pvid=1602_1
Hope that helps.

Hi, yes I am putting in the serial but it does not give me an option for SP1.
I will try the SP1 version from trialware site, and let you know how it goes.
Thanks

Can you please verify the version you tried and the version you have now downloaded from the trial site? From your initial post it looks like you said the version was 3.0; please confirm.
Thanks
