Upgrade to BESR 2010

Hello all,

Just upgraded BESR on my Exchange and Enterprise Vault servers from BESR 8.5 to BESR 2010 Server edition. All went OK except one - dont qquite know what happened it appeared to install correctly but would not run when it was asked too.

Decided to conmpletely remove the product from the systme whicch I have but wwhen I come to install it it say that there is a later version of the product still installed, the system ahs been rebooted after the uninstall.


I have a limited time when I can reboot this server as it is an Exchange mailbox server.


Can anyone please advise.

Try to remove all registry keys related to BESR in HKLM\Software and delete all folders under program files and in the %allusersprofile% folder , this helped in one of my cases.

I have run the Uninstall from teh batch file provided by Symatec that removes all th eregistry entries as well. Still getting the same problem - this is becoming urgent now

Have checked that ? I think I tried it once that way and there were some leftovers.
