Upgrading the BESROption SW from 7 to 8. Best approach

OK.

So I upgraded the software on the "console" server without issue.

How do I upgrade my remote servers that are running the ver 7 agent?

Uninstall the BESR Agent from the remote server from add/remove programs. You'll be asked if you want to save your settings for future use, say yes to that. From your BESR server redeploy the agent to your remote server. I've completed this process on 8 remote servers and all is working fine. Good Luck!

Wouldn't it be great to have an option to click on any server/desktop in your managenment console and select update, which then gives you the option to remotely install a patch or the next version of the client which activates next time it reboots!!!! That would be something useful as i have 215 desktops and 10 servers to upgrade and downtiome is very limited!
