Hi, we need these questions answer for the installation. if anyone have an idea about these questions please provide us a feedback

which ports must be open from the management solution server to client and client to management solution server ?

Which service must be running state on management solution server and client ?

Which registery word must be edited for the management solution server ?

There are many services and registry entries to be edited, why do you want to know ?

because we installed symantec management platform 2011 and we tried to send this packages to the client but because of the any problems we can not send these packages. l try to manual installation to the client and it install successfully and it takes backup successfully but we need to push these packages remotely to the clients because there are more than 300 client on the environment.

So for the client you need to install the following files: AexNSC.exe for the Altiris Agent and Symantec_SSR_NS_Agnet_10_0.msi they all have parameters to allow a silent setup and connect to the management solution.

our main problem is for example the server service disabled status and enableautoshare disable status on management solution server and thats why the client can not get packages from the management server. for that reason l want to learn which service must be running state and are there any registery keys related the installation.

Hm, at least on my MS these two services are running and set to auto start.
